Every year our Troop volunteers a weekend to conduct service work at Pioneer Scout Reservation to make sure that we are able to get our choice of campsites for summer camp. This is the shortest, but the Scouts' most favorite campout of the year. Given the restrictions of the current COVID-19 outbreak,
our Troop is trying something new - a virtual campout. Grab your tent, sleeping bag, and other gear, and head out to your backyard. This time make sure you bring a smart phone, tablet, or laptop, and join your other friends for what will be a unique experience. |
July 26 - Aug. 1, 2020
Summer Camp at Camp Pioneer
It is never too soon to start thinking about summer camp. We are going a bit later in the season this year, so the Scouts that are going to Philmont Scout Reservation can join the rest of their Troop for camp. Please note, most merit badges have prerequisites that will need to be completed if the Scout is going to have a completed "blue card" at the end of camp.
